Unmade movies

The task was to bring a collection of 35 short stories of the scriptwriter and director Jörg Kalt in book form.

The design solution plays with the theme of the "unfinished" and deliberately tries to create a manuscript-like character. "Unmade movies" by Jörg Kalt is intimated as a kind of workbook for young directors. The book has no hard cover, which is intended so it supports the impression of a manuscript collection. The theme of the "unfinished", "not made“ manifests itself in the form that the envisaged actors are presented on red intermediate pages as an association with undeveloped films - darkroom. The typography is based on the writing style of the author, including cancelations and corrections.
